When you're into interiors, one of the exciting things of the beginning of the year is the expos! And Cologne, for us living in Eindhoven is just a few hours away so there was no way we could miss it. ;)
We had just one day to visit, so we focused on String and Muuto, our two brands present at IMM, and as we expected, we were not disappointed.
First we walked over to Muuto. Their booth this year was designed by Studio David Thulstrup, a young studio based in Copenhagen with an interesting focus in interiors for retail.
The result was a great setup divided by translucent curtains creating separate spaces while it maintained a nice flow where people could easily move around, giving the user a great idea of how Muuto can be used in every corner of your home.
We saw new products, new colours and alternate sizes to existing products, making their collection even better than what it was. Read more about the new products from Muuto here.
String's booth was designed by Swedish Interior Stylist Lotta Agathon, and what a beautiful way to do it! White on white with, yes, white accessories. Its this achromatic trend that has been going on lately which we really like and String has been doing pretty good for some time now.
It was an impressive setting and a wonderful way to showcase their new products while maintaining their strong presence as the big modular storage company they are. New products, new sizes and new colours were added, extending its functionality even more. Read more about the new products from String here.
It was a short trip but it was worth it.
